Adventure riding is challenging. The Intermediate course is not a basic course yet it is suitable for those beginners with some off road experience through to the experienced rider.

Further develop your riding skills by mastering the fundamentals. The skill based exercises can be altered in complexity to suit the skill level of any rider making this a rewarding and challenging course.

This full day course is conducted in a closed, controlled environment and also in a forest road and trail situation. You will hone and master

  • Body position for effective off road riding
  • Throttle, brake and clutch techniques
  • Turning techniques using counter balance
  • Controlling front and rear wheel skids
  • Hill recovery
  • Vision, hazard perception and line selection
  • Trail riding to put your newly acquired skills into practice

The Intermediate course is generally held on the second Sunday of the month but can be arrange for others times. Call to discuss your requirements. Start time is 8:30am at the Tepon Raceway, Flaggy Creek road, Wondecla. Participant numbers are kept low (6) to ensure that all riders receive adequate feedback.

The cost of the course is $265. Morning tea and lunch are provided including snacks, tea, coffee and water. Please read the Information page and the terms and conditions prior to booking. You will be required to sign a copy of the terms and conditions before commencing the course.
